I think I figured out which version to use. I made the colors light because the linework is dark and makes the colors appear darker, but I think there's enough contrast now. I just need to know if it shows up clearly enough.

This is a design style I used to do way back in school, and I'm going to make more pieces in this style to submit to apparel sites. I'm starting on the next design today.

This is the submission graphic showing some detail. I have to figure out other places to submit it to if I don't win, since they say you can't submit the same design twice. Anyone know any? I think I found one other one. I'd hate to waste all this work. I can always sell them through Zazzle but I don't get much traffic to my products.

I'd love to win once or twice this year, it's pretty good money and I need it.

Larry the design is fantastic! The colours are gorgeous and as far as I can see you've got the contrast perfect. Really highlights the colours, I love this style! As for other sites I'm not sure to be honest but will try and look into it for you.

Things are really bad for us now, so I'm hoping to figure out how to freelance. I have to take care of Mom and she's a worrier. I love you guys, you make me feel better.

I also redid my website design! I put the Ghoultoons in the sidebar so they'll show at the top of the page all week. More content coming to the blog, and I'm working on bringing back the podcast.

This design isn't a monster or anything, I'm glad it's done, I need to try to get these done quicker. They probably won't win but I can sell the t-shirts myself. I'm going to do one more in this style, maybe a dragon or something, but want to get back to doing painted horror stuff soon.

New podcast is up, t-shirts are back on the website. Now I'm doing another design and when it's done I'll start submitting. I have two websites to submit to, and if they don't get picked I'll put the designs in my t-shirt store.

Been submitting t-shirt designs to Threadless. 2 are up now, one is closed for scoring, the other is just posted yesterday. Gonna follow up with the Cthulhu one.

I saw a couple of designs by other people that looked painterly, and I didn't know you could do that. They kept the colors minimal or even monotone, so I guess I can do that. I just have to be careful about leaving defined transparent areas. No more boxes around the design like my Ghoulzone ones.

I want to get back to doing some gross monster stuff, but I don't think they'd print them. I have to find someone who will otherwise I have to keep going with this present style. I wish I had money so I could cut loose and do the art I really want to do.
